Looking for something to entertain the little ones on a plane, train, in the car, waiting room or out for a meal here are a list of suggestions from the Just Williams teams that all fit easily into a bag and take kids away from screens.

Funny Faces On-the-Go Magnetic Play Set – includes over 25 magnetic pieces that can be mixed & matched to create multiple funny faces. Packaged in an easy- to close tin, perfect to pack away all the pieces and fit into a bag. There are various other magnetic playsets available but the Funny Faces is our favourite!

EastSleepDoodle Colour In Pencil Cases – these are great as they are pencil cases which you colour in, wash and then you can do it all over again. The best thing is that as it is a pencil case it can hold the fabric markers and anything else you may need.

iQ Link – work through the challenges, trying to place the pieces in the right place. Comes in an easy to carry case. This is one of the many great Smart Toys Logic Games and puzzles all of which come with either a drawstring bag or case to keep the pieces together or to take with you.

Top Trumps – everyone loves Top Trumps! Each card has a list of data about the character, place or person on the card. The aim of the game is to compare these values to try and trump and win your oponents card. A great, fun way to learn facts and figures. Themes vary from superheroes to educational topics such as Wonders of the World.

Water Magic – Reusable, board, activity books for the little ones which comes with refillable water pen. Simply use the pen to colour in each scene details and vibrant colour appear with every stroke! Then let the page dry to erase the pictures and fill it in again and again. What’s more there is no mess!

These are pefecr for those aged 3years and over and come in a variety of themes.

Uno and Uno Junior is another of our favourite games. This classic game of matching colours and numbers is easy to pick up and fun for the whole family. The junior version has multiple levels of play so kids can grow with the game and has fun zoo animals to help engage the children.

Dobble – is Just Williams favourite game. Everyone loves it! It is a simple game with 5 different variations all based on speed and observations for the whole family. Be warned the youngest members are usually the quickest! Dobble comes in a handy tin to pop in your bag. Due to Dobble’s success they have now launches various versions from Harry Potter Dobble to Disney Princess to Marvel Emoji Dobble.

Usbourne Sticker books – these come in every theme conceivable from space, football, fairies, the zoo, underwater to nursery rhymes. There is something for everyone. The sticker books come in 3 sizes, A4, A5 and mini pocket sizes. The complexity of the books also various from those with bigger stickers and more basic scene in the My First Sticker Book range aimed at those aged 3yrs+ to the more detailed themes such as the Maps Activity Books aimed at those age 7yrs+ Children love finding the stickers and filling the scenes. There is something for everyone.

Bananagrams – simple, addictive and portable. It is a fast and frantic word game. Player and their opponents aim to use all their letters to build a word grid, like a crossword in a race to use all their letters. The player to use all their letters first is the winner. Played this many times and the youngest member usually wins as they don’t over think the words and stick to 3 or 4 letters words whilst the adults deliberate over words trying to use every letter!

Magnetic sketchers create no mess. Can be used to draw or play games such as noughts and crosses. Just slide the lever and your drawing disappears and you can start again and again! Lightweight and easy to carry or pack away. You can even get them with your favourite characters suchs as Peppa Pig
